The Temple
The Temple of Conflict is the second largest structure in the Demiplane of Conflict, after The Arena itself. It's high central spire can be seen from anywhere in the Demiplane, including from The Arena floor. Within the Temple are countless shrines to myriad gods from around the multiverse, old, new, and unheard of. Many combatants come to The Temple's labyrinthine corridors between matches to pray for guidance so that they may survive, in hopes of someday appeasing the Master of Conflict and escaping The Arena. Characters who visit The Temple receive divine favor in the form of a die they can use on any d20 roll in their next bout, though they must declare they are using the die before making their roll. This die adds to any other bonuses and bonus dice that the character has for that roll. The die characters receive is based on their level of membership at The Temple:
1 - 1d4
2 - 1d6
3 - 1d8
4 - 1d10
5 - 1d12
In addition to this divine favor, characters will be met by a representative of The Temple following their next bout, and may receive any and all of the following spells up to their level of membership in The Temple:
1 - Lesser Restoration
2 - Remove Curse
3 - Greater Restoration
4 - Raise Dead
5 - Regenerate
Characters that are restored to life by way of The Temple retain all their Prestige, Astral Tokens, experience, and any magic items awarded to them for their prestige. All other equipment and money is lost.
